"VSCO has been driving me nuts with all..."
VSCO has been driving me nuts with all the notifications and emails. I turned off the stuff I could find, thinking that would finally cut it down, but then I still kept getting random pushes and messages I didn’t ask for. It feels like they say you can control what you get, but they don’t actually follow through.
The settings are also way more confusing than they need to be. I shouldn’t have to hunt around just to stop communication from an app I barely even use. Just give me one clear place to choose my preferences, then actually respect it. Annoying.

"Feels kinda empty in there"
It just feels weirdly quiet. Like nobody’s really commenting or talking, so it ends up feeling a bit lonely.

"The weird part is, the web app barely works"
I really wanted this to be useful, but the weird part is it feels like the web app just gives up at the worst times. It keeps freezing, my uploads fail for no clear reason, and when I reached out to support, I didn’t get much help. Frustrating overall...

"The profile pages look clean, I’ll give them..."
The profile pages look clean, I’ll give them that, but there’s barely anything you can actually customize. I wanted mine to feel a little more personal, and it just ended up looking like everyone else’s. What’s extra annoying is it feels like there are all these little policy loopholes where certain things are blocked or limited for “consistency” or “safety,” but the end result is just a bland profile you can’t really make your own. For a creative app, that’s disappointing.
"I wanted to use this app..."
I wanted to use this app to quickly update and save a few posts before heading out, but it turned into a whole thing. It looks nice, sure, but actually using it is so frustrating. The menus feel like they keep changing or hiding where I expect things to be, and simple stuff like editing, saving, or finding older posts takes way too many taps. I kept getting lost and backing out over and over, which totally threw off the plans I had for the day. it’s just not worth the hassle for me.

"I tried using the in-app camera and..."
I tried using the in-app camera and it was kind of a hassle. It kept lagging, the focus seemed off, and saving photos took way longer than I expected. I ended up missing a bunch of shots, which was really annoying. Maybe I’m being too picky, but for a photo app, the camera part just feels rough right now

"Loved it at first, but not anymore"
I used to really like VSCO. The filters are nice, the editing tools are clean, and for a while I thought it was one of the better photo apps out there. But honestly? The subscription price is just too much now for what you actually get. I’m not paying every year just to tweak a few photos here and there. It feels like every time I open the app, there’s more paid stuff being pushed in my face. I canceled mine and moved on. There are cheaper apps that do enough without making it feel like everything is locked behind a paywall.

"I’m losing trust in the desktop experience"
Editing on desktop is still way more frustrating than it should be. I keep hoping they’ll finally make the workflow feel complete and reliable, but it still feels half-baked. At this point, I’m starting to lose trust that they’re actually going to fix it.

"Not great for video editing"
I got frustrated trying to edit videos with this. Trimming clips and adding filters felt way slower than it should, and the final export looked worse than what I was seeing in the preview. I also couldn’t really fine tune simple things like audio levels or transitions the way I wanted. It might be okay for quick photo edits, but if you’re mainly trying to edit videos, I wouldn’t pay for it

"Kinda hard to manage my data"
The privacy settings were confusing, and trying to figure out how to delete my data was not clear at all. Just felt messy and kinda frustrating, honestly.

"I get that VSCO is trying to do..."
I get that VSCO is trying to do the whole clean, minimal aesthetic, and it does look nice when you first open it. But after using it for a bit, it just feels really empty and cold to me. Everything is so stripped down that I end up hunting around for basic stuff, which gets annoying fast. It almost feels more like a curated mood board than an app I actually want to use. And maybe I’m just tired of apps feeling like they were designed by some automated system with no real personality, but that’s kind of the vibe I get here. Pretty, but not very warm or useful for me.
"Good app, but cancelling was way too complicated"
The app itself was fine and I actually liked using it, but cancelling was such a hassle. I thought I had stopped the trial, then still ended up getting charged. When I reached out to support, they were slow to respond and didn’t really help much. It just left me thinking, why is this so complicated?

"I used to really like VSCO, but…"
I used to really like vsco, but my snap judgment now is that it’s just too unreliable to bother with. It freezes while I’m editing, crashes right before I save, and sometimes it won’t even load my photos at all. The updates haven’t really fixed anything for me either. When the basic stuff keeps breaking, it’s just frustrating to use

"Can’t get past the login issue"
I’ve been trying to log in, but it just keeps failing for some reason. I reached out to support about this, but so far they haven’t really helped or fixed anything. It’s frustrating dealing with that when I just want to access my account

"Some presets are amazing, others made me question everything"
I use VSCO mostly when I’m hunting for creative presets, some of them are ridiculously good. Like, I’ll throw one on a random phone photo and suddenly I’m acting like I just shot a magazine cover.
That said, there are also a ton that feel super similar, and it can be weirdly hard to tell what’s actually going to work before you buy or save it. And when the browsing gets slow, I start dramatically reconsidering all my life choices.
Overall, it’s fine. Not terrible, not life-changing, somewhere in the middle. I still use it because the good presets are worth it, but I really wish the marketplace was easier to sort through before I lose my mind over another nearly identical filter...

"vsco is solid overall, and..."
vsco is solid overall, and I like using it, but the export quality doesn’t always hit the mark for me. Sometimes the photos come out looking a little less sharp than I expected, especially if I’m sharing them outside the app. It’s not a dealbreaker, but I do think the resolution and final output could be better.

"I’m sure they make sense to someone, but..."
I’m sure they make sense to someone, but I couldn’t follow them at all. They felt confusing and skipped over basic questions I was hoping they’d answer. Totally fine, I guess, just not very useful for me.

"Sharing from VSCO is more annoying than it should be"
I really like using VSCO for filters and quick edits, and that part is still why I keep the app around.
But I don’t know why sharing photos out of it feels so awkward sometimes. If I try to post to Instagram or save something and upload it somewhere else, the quality can look a little off, or it makes me go through extra steps that don’t feel necessary.
For an app that’s basically made for editing and sharing photos, I expected that whole process to be smoother. It’s not awful, but it’s annoying enough that I end up using VSCO less than I probably would.

"Backup Didn’t Feel Reliable"
I remember using vsco mainly to save my edits, and the cloud backup just didn’t feel very dependable. Some photos seemed to take forever to sync, and a few edits never showed up on my other phone at all. I also remember reaching out to support and not really getting much help. Overall, it was frustrating and made me hesitant to trust it with anything important...

"Gallery organization got confusing fast"
I was trying to sort out my portfolio galleries, and even simple things like moving a few photos into the right spot made me feel lost. It just wasn’t clear where everything was going.
